M42 US AIRBORNE JUMP JACKET

An original WWII Airborne jump jacket in very nice condition. The jacket is made of cotton poplin with sharply tailored sides.  It has four cargo pockets with flaps that can be snapped open or closed.  The breast pockets are angled, allowing access even when weighed down with equipment.  Jacket has dual zippered knife pocket and original zipper on body. All of the pocket closure snaps are functional. There is no visible damage, rips or tears. There are initials in the back of jacket but no solid ID. The main closure zipper is functioning but has a couple of teeth missing about 3/4ths of the way up.  This one is completely original and still has the belt which is missing on many of them.
