WWII BRITISH MADE US ARMY CANTEEN

An outstanding condition US Army issue canteen, cup and cover. The cover is the scarce “British Made” pattern as made in England under contract for American forces.  The right inner flap is marked with maker, date and “British Made”.  The last number in the date was not well stamped and is illegible.  All other markings are readable.  The cover is in very fine condition with clear US stamp.  The canteen is 1944 dated and I have not removed the cup as it is a tight fit in the cover.
