A very nice and complete 2nd Lieutenant of the 3rd Infantry Division dress jacket. The coat has the original brass collar insignia of US officer and crossed rifles of an infantryman. The left sleeve has 3rd division patch with 3 bullion overseas bars. The left chest of jacket has combat infantry badge and below that the ribbon bar has sewn on ribbons of ETO ribbon with 2 stars, American campaign medal, good conduct and above that is the pinned French Croix de guerre. The right chest has the ribbon for Presidential Unit Citation. Jacket has tag in interior pocket dated 1942.
Jacket is in very good condition. It does have 3 or 4 scattered moth bites, but nothing distracting. Everything appears original to jacket and medals are correct for 3rd ID.
