This is a finely crafted, privately tailored service blouse for a Heer Infantry Feldwebel. Made from high-quality doeskin wool, it features a stand-and-fall collar covered in dark green badge cloth. The jacket has a six-button front and four pleated patch pockets, with field-grey painted pebbled buttons, including those on the shoulder boards. The green rayon lining includes slit for suspending a dagger or sword at the lower left pocket. Early pattern Infantry litzen collar tabs are machine-applied, while the metallic NCO tress is hand-sewn. Wool/Felt shoulder straps with felt piping are neatly attached to the seams, each adorned with machine-applied metallic NCO tress and a silvered rank pip. The national emblem, hand-embroidered in aluminum wire on a dark green wool base, is sewn to the breast, with original loops for a ribbon bar and two breast badges.
Condition is exceptional, with only minimal signs of insect tracks and light sweat staining to sleeve lining.
