The Glider Badge was a special skills badge of the United States Army. The badge was awarded to personnel who had “been assigned or attached to a glider or airborne unit having satisfactorily completed the airborne glider school or participated in at least one combat glider mission into enemy-held territory.
This is a war-time example made in England for US glider troops. A nice example with an attractive even patina and distinctive English style pin.
