EXCEPTIONAL WWII TRENCH ART MESS KIT

An outstanding trench art mess kit done by a soldier that went by the moniker “Sailor”.  The kit is covered with the famous ETO place names and dates when the soldier was there, from arrival in England to landing in Normandy through to the end of the war. The lid features a map of the ETO. The best part of the kit is the interior of pan is engraved “BELGIUM 27-12-44/ATHQs (?)/ A BASTARD OF BASTOGNE”.  This is possibly the best trench art mess kit I have seen.
