“HELL ON WHEELS” IKE JACKET

A 1944 dated Ike jacket for an Armored Division trooper.  The right sleeve has the patch for 20th Armored which was a late war unit that saw action in Germany. At the end of the war he was transferred to the 2nd Armored Division known as Hell on Wheels. What makes this jacket interesting is the fact that the Hell on Wheels tab would be one of the earliest versions and German made. The coat is nice with armored collar brass and original ribbons. There is a laundry number in the jacket.
