This exact set is pictured in the book “Sailors in Forest Green; USN Personnel Attached to the USMC, Volume 1” by Jeff Warner, and are from his estate collection.

Manufactured for the US Army for jungle service the one-piece jungle suit saw early service in the Pacific by both the Army and Marine Corps.  By mid 1943 the one-piece was being replaced by a jacket and pants set.  The suit comes with built in suspenders to help hold the weight held in the large hip pockets. The suit is closed using the original Conmar zipper and a snap at top.  Pockets are held closed with 2 snap buttons one on each end.  These have seen actual field use and have 3 different stenciled laundry numbers.

Condition is very good showing field use and some tears at bottom of legs which can also be seen in the images from the book. The suspenders are present, the right shoulder tab that holds that suspender belt is loose on one end.  Zipper and buttons are fully functional.
