THEATER MADE FIGHTING KNIFE

This is a theater made fighting knife most likely originating either in Australia or New Zealand. The knife measures 11-inches overall with an approx. 6.5- inch blade. The unique and attractive grip is made of bright aircraft aluminum. Spearpoint type blade is mostly dark with areas of pinprick pitting.  Scabbard is black leather with heavy leather stitching and a pair of rivets at throat. A leather tie is utilized to hold the grip.  Back side of scabbard is stamped “DILL / 1945”.  A good looking knife that we can say for certain is of WW2 vintage.
