UTICA M-3 KNIFE – M8 SCABBARD

This is a guard stamped Utica M3 with M8 scabbard. Grip is the 6-groove type with staked pommel. Blade has medium gray parkerized finish which is about 75%, no evidence of sharpening. Guard is stamped “US / M-3 / UTICA”.  Scabbard is an M8 which is marked “U S M 8 / B.M. CO.” which is Beckwith Mfg. Co.  The front of the scabbard has been darkened slightly, I assume as a camouflaging possibly to make it less visible at night.  Overall a nice piece in very good condition.
