WW2 NUMBERED SILVER STAR WITH OAKLEAF CLUSTER

A nice condition WW2 silver star medal and ribbon with bronze oakleaf cluster for second award.  The medal is the slot brooch type and is numbered “52090” on edge of star.  Due to this medal being numbered there is the possibility of identifying the recipient.  This medal for bravery and gallantry in combat was awarded to a true US military hero.
