Authenticity:
- We guarantee that every military relic sold on our website is authentic. Each item comes with a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) issued by a respected and recognized expert in the field of military history and memorabilia. The LOA will detail the item’s origin, description, condition, and any relevant historical information.
- If, upon receiving the item and its LOA, you have doubts about its authenticity, you have [3] three days to return it for a full refund, provided it remains in its original, undamaged condition.
- In the unlikely event that an item is later deemed inauthentic by a mutually agreed-upon independent expert, we will offer a full refund, including the original purchase price, shipping costs, and any expert fees incurred.
Condition:
- We strive to accurately describe the condition of each item in our listings, including any damage, wear, or repairs. We provide detailed photographs and encourage you to ask any questions before making a purchase.
- However, due to the age and nature of military relics, some minor imperfections or inconsistencies may exist. We cannot guarantee absolute perfection, but we aim for transparency and accurate representation.
- If you believe the item’s condition does not match the description or photos, you can return it within [3] three days for a full refund, provided it remains in its original, undamaged state.
Exclusions:
- This guarantee does not apply to items damaged in transit or due to improper handling by the buyer.
- We cannot guarantee the historical accuracy of information associated with an item beyond what is presented in the LOA.
- Items sold “as-is” are excluded from this guarantee.

Payment:
We accept payment via, Credit Cards, Personal Check, PayPal, Postal Money Order, Cashier’s Check and Western Union/ Money Gram and Wire Transfer (IBAN). Kentucky residents subject to 6 % sales tax. International payment will need to be in the form of Wire Transfer (IBAN) in USD.
Shipping:
We can ship via FedEx, UPS and USPS. We will ship as soon as possible after your payment has been received. Most items are sent USPS and require a direct Signature for items $500 and above. Please note that items shipped internationally will be subject to additional shipping fees.
Bluegrass Militaria assumes no liability for merchandise lost, stolen, damaged, or seized once shipped. We do offer insurance options for our buyers, which is recommended strongly.
The countries of Austria, France and Germany are considered high shipping risk due to the laws concerning material regarding symbols used. Because of these laws, we accept no responsibility for items seized by their respective customs agencies and cannot accept payment methods using PayPal or Credit Card. Acceptable methods of payment for these countries are Bank Wire Transfer (IBAN), Western Union/ Money Gram, or US Dollars (US dollars sent by mail is at senders risk).
RETURN POLICY:
We work very hard to ensure our description and detailed photographs are accurate when offering an item. We offer a three-day inspection period. If you are not satisfied you may return the item(s) for a full refund less postage and fees. Items returned, or refunded, prior to us shipping the item to the customer are subject to processing fees as well as any fees incurred from PayPal or Credit Card transactions. If an item was held in layaway, an additional 20% restocking fee will be withheld. To make a return, please take the following steps:
- Bluegrass Militaria must be notified via the contact page or by phone: (859) 221-7111, within three days of receiving an order.
- The item(s) must be returned in the same condition as it was received. The cleaning, disassembly, or tampering of the purchased item(s) will thereby void the return policy.
- There will be no refund on any item(s) not returned to Bluegrass Militaria and it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the item(s) is delivered to Bluegrass Militaria in the same condition as originally received. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding shipping methods when returning the item(s).
LAYAWAY POLICY:
We offer layaway plans for items that are $300 or higher in cost. We understand how expensive artifacts can be. We like to see layaway plans structured on a 1-3 month program, of the final list price. For items above $2,000, the term will be evaluated on a case by case basis. We request a minimum of 30% down payment, with the remaining payments made at the previously agreed intervals. We are very flexible and are willing to make the transaction seamless. If the payments are not made on time, or if full payment is not made by the close of the agreed time, a 20% restocking fee will apply. This fee will be withheld (which covers our losses for the time the item(s) were taken off the market), and the remaining balance returned to the buyer.
Additionally, if the client has received the item(s) from layaway and wishes to return it, they must follow the return policy. A 20% restocking fee will be withheld from the total before the funds are returned to the client.
