1926 DATED ENGINEER CAMPAIGN HAT

A very nice condition US army campaign hat for an enlisted engineer soldier.  Hat cord is red with white acorns which is the 1923 regulations pattern for engineers.  Body of hat is very good with no fading or staining.  Underside of brim has scattered insect nips.  Original chinstrap is in excellent condition.  Inside of sweatband is stamped with maker name and address and is clearly dated 1926.  There is some loose stitching on sweatband but it is not falling out of the hat.  A nice example.
